Feature documentary SUE BIRD: IN THE CLUTCH follows the five-time gold-medalist basketball legend Sue Bird through her 21st and final year in the WNBA. Through one year of intimate verite footage with Sue and her fiancée, US soccer star Megan Rapinoe, the film explores life as a woman in sports and how that's shifted over the last 21 years. Her impact for women in sports reaches well beyond her name. Through Sue's story, the film questions what drives someone to become one of the best point guards to play the game and witnesses her grappling with retirement from the only life she's ever known.
